“Wrestling with the Image: Caribbean Interventions” is a multimedia art exhibit featuring 12 contemporary Caribbean artists and curated by Tatiana Flores and RSP’s Chris Cozier. It is open at the Museum of Americas, Washington D.C. from January 21, 2011-March 10, 2011.
Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) at NYU is holding the colloquium “Our America: Cross Currents and Intimate Dialogues in the Making of a Hemisphere.” Dr. Michaeline Crichlow is scheduled to present her lecture “Creolization, Americanity and the Americas in the World System” on April 1, 2011.
